FOG HANGING LIKE IN A COAT HANGER

Beautiful milky foggy mornings, outside eyelashes become coat hangers for raindrops from the fog.

Keeping fingers crossed! Kaukana omalta maalta by Sisko Latvus is a nominee for the Finnish book prize, Junior Finlandia. Happy to see the book all over now with my painting in the cover.

Have a good Wednesday, filled with a nice touch of perfect paper from your favorite book, between your fingers!

....
Sumu roikkuu ulkona ripsistä pisaroina kuin hengarissa.

Peukut pystyssä Sisko Latvuksen kirjalle, Kaukana omalta maalta. Junior Finlandia ehdokkuuden ansiosta kirja on vilahtanut iltauutisissa ja aamun sanomalehdissä kukkakimppujen vierellä ja lämpöisissä käsissä.

Pehmeimpiä kirjansivuja sormiesi väliin, hyvää keskiviikon jatkoa!

  19. Tack kära Sara!
It already means a lot to be nominated, though the prize goes for the author, not for me (: But happily the book is now recognized with a new interest, it is a good book!

    Dear Kate,
    Thank you so much.

    Dear Jenna,
Thank you! Hopefully one day I am able to write a book, it would be nice I think. Very kind words you write, thank you.

    Hei Solja-kiltti,
Hassua, ettei olla törmätty viime aikoina! Olisi mukavaa taas tavata.

    Dear Barbara,
Very glad to hear that. I will write "a book" to my list of things to do (:

    Dear Coffee Project,
    Thank you! (:

    Ihana Maija,
Kiitos hurjasti! Mukavaa, jos tunnistit. Onnea teille pirttiinne pienestä uudesta ihmeestä.

    Dear Irene,
    Thank you so much!

    Dear Karin,

    Dear Demie,
    Thank you! (:

    Dear Gracia,
Sometimes I do worry a bit about my language as I am not a native speaker of English. But you know it, don´t you (: Thank you!

    Dear Celsee,
Thank you. Mostly it surprises (:

    Dear Duermeveland,
Thank you so much. It is lovely to paint water. In this one it is a big river in Russia. Hoping to visit that river one day.

    Dear Dennie,
Thank you for your greetings. So much. Greetings from Finland to you too.

    Dear Kitchu,
    Thank you (:

    Dear Kym,
How honored to hear this. Maybe one day, workshop sounds like a fun thing to do, with a pleasure I would (:

    Dear Diane,
Thank you for reminding of that video, it indeed is very magical. It is pretty much a mystery to me how they can fly like that. I keep on dreaming.

    Hanna kultainen,
Kiitos terkuista ja onnesta, sitä aina tarvitaan! Ja lämpöä, täällä juuri haaveilen, josko vähän varastaisin aikaa itselleni ja neuloisin myssyä. Värejä ja ensi lumi hippuja Hannalle!

Thank you so much dear all of you, it means heavens to me to read your words.

Oli monta kaunista postausta katselematta ja ahmin nyt ne kaikki. Tulipa visuaalisesti ruokittu olo, kiitos.

  22. Thank you so much Valerie. The prize goes to the author of the book, but it means a lot just to be part of the book in the cover.

Tarinallesi oikeutettua! Täälläkin kirjakaupoissa muutaman hyllystä näkyvän kirjanselän sijaan olikin oikein pino muitten ehdokkaitten kanssa pöydälle aseteltuina.

Täytyy kurkata WSOY:n sivuille. Kirjasi välissä on jo monta juttua leikattuna lehdistä talteen, ja lisää kuulema tulee (vanhempani kertoivat jutusta Savon Sanomissa viimeisimpänä).

    Valkoisen talven odottelutoivotuksia!
