ANNA EMILIA FOR NARUMI

This spring is filled with flora. Clovers, crocuses tied as grandmother's bouquet, apple blossoms blooming in Finnish fir forest. Meadows of green, forget-me-nots here and there.

It is my pleasure to show you some of my paintings from a few years back in a new tableware collection for Narumi in Japan. It is a mix-and-match collection with bone china, with some glazed items and also with glass tumblers, the collection to be continued.

A new continent, a new big story to tell! Butterflies in my tummy!

You can view all the items on Narumi's online store here, available now. Sorry only in Japanese!

Spring has been arriving lately with bright blue sky and warming golden sunshine. Tonight, maybe some Northern Lights appear. With a thermo bottle of hot tea and wrapped in wool I walk to stare the sky.

Arigato Narumi!

Happy spring!

I think it's an honour, being appreciated by the Japanese with their extraordinary sense of beauty and sophisticated subtlety. Congratulations! 5. Oh, and I love the idea of embossing your patterns in china. It looks like some kind of lace or something. So delicate! As you can see, I came back again to look at it ;)

  7. Jessus kun on kauniita astioita!! Osaatko sanoa onko näitä missään saatavilla Euroopassa?

On muuten ihana nähdä miten kuvituksesi leviävät maailmalle; olin vast'ikään Suomessa käymässä ja Prisman läpi juostessa sattui astiahyllyllä tutut kukat silmään! Jäi valitettavasti silloin ostamatta (muistanko nyt oikein että oli jonkunlainen keraaminen leikkuulauta tms. vai oonko nähnyt unta?) kiireessä mutta apua, näitä japanilaisia voisin haalia kyllä vähän kalliimmallakin kaappiini! :x

    1. Heippa Mira!

      (:

  14. Oh my, this tableware collection is amazing! Your paintings look incredibly gorgeous on those plates, mugs, glasses... That is such an exciting project! And I love the mix-and-match spirit of it. Wouldn't that look good on my food blog? I would love to develop recipes especially for your tableware and feature your work on my blog... Did you see the eclipse last saturday? Have a happy spring!
