SPRING HOUSE

A small spring house to get warm between long walks.

This week some melting snow, some more new snow, strong winds, mild temperatures. Icy streets, a few puddles. Streams of running water in hills, the best kind of melody with birds singing wildly.

Thank you so much for your kind birthday wishes.

Have a sweet weekend with dreams!

ALLOTMENT TENT

A small house, just the size for a humble ladybird from paper scraps. Was thinking of north, of Lapland where I will travel next week. But it is more a house for a humble ladybird than a Sami tent.

An evening walk in sunset. A pink evening walk. It has been very warm. Hot. Working behind closed curtains during days and reading a book by the arboretum shore about building a shed in the evenings. Then on the way home a longer path till the sun sets. Today in the allotment garden, where two grannies were marveling at all the blooming in their white pajamas. Lilacs scenting everything.

See you in the week of Midsummer bonfires. Summer whispers from me to you.

P.s. Hopefully showing you soon a new picture for a nice project.

WINTER POND HOUSE

Hello dear Monday,

With fresh snow, silent winds. Clouds hanging above like laundry, not moving, not transparent. With new paths in the snow starts the week. Firewood smelling, smell of home.

The only eraser got lost. A winter pond house was sawed and nailed instead. Eraser was found. Three things started meanwhile. "Oh there you were." Under a pile of paper, a lost friend.

A letter arrived, with a beautiful necklace. Thank you Anna! It reminds of a necklace of childhood, with small glass beads. Jumping on the ground and shining, getting lost and unreachable like real stars. A small cosmos on the floor. But this one will be around my wrist, reminding of the real cosmos and the ones we still don´t know.

Thank you, thank you once again for your orders, they will be sent to you tomorrow!

Monday mint green tea magic. Frost meadows and mimics of yellow and red chested winter birds.

EARLY RENDEZVOUS, A FAREWELL FOR A WHILE

Hello dear all of you,

Early morning of the Midsummer Eve and a walk while everyone else were still asleep. All silent, but the summer wind and Mr. Bunny, who I met many times on different paths. He was certainly having the most fresh breakfast of dandelions and a bit of the flowers of the allotment garden. Then we met on a meadow and I was already sure that he had marked the same route to his unplanned morning walk map.

Vanya won the give-away, congratulations! I will send it to you after my holiday as I still did not reach you. Thank you to everyone for writing your messages and wishes, every one of them I read carefully and keep in my mind, being so happy about them.

A bag is filled with a summer book and small provisions, in the afternoon I will travel 1937 kilometers away. Then on Monday some 4016 km more. We will meet in August again!

Bonfires, summer lake waves, warm forests with wood-sorrels and meadows of green to you,
Please be well,

Anna Emilia

GREY HORIZON, WAITING FOR THE SOUND OF RAIN

Happy dear Thursday,

It is very cloudy and the wind keeps on singing with a strong voice through the grayness. Maybe he is missing the sun too these days. But the first lunch was eaten on my balcony some days ago when it still was warm and yellow light all around. Freckles on their way on my nose.

A new allotment hut appeared next to the two older ones. I already wondered what it is all the banging and ruckus outdoors. It is probably a studio of mine, my company name was approved this week and it is simply Anna Emilia. Whenever there will be a break in the commission works I am doing, I promise to work more on the online store which you have been eagerly asked about lately. Thank you for all the comments, emails and letters dear all of you, they keep me going and I am happy to answer them!

Today I am very hungry. Luckily there is a big kettle of summer soup. What will you eat today?

Have a delightful evening!

SAWING, NAILING, PAINTING, WHISTLING

The small allotment garden and their huts are finally awake in my neighbor. Yesterday the first small yellow flower popped on my bicycle trip there. An older woman was carrying a pile of cut branches inside her fences and asked if I am on my way to work too (in one of the gardens). "I am just a passer-by adoring these small yards. And searching for the first flowers of the spring. I saw one, the very first one, just behind me." "Oh you did? That is a happy thing. I go to see it too."

This morning I built my own allotment huts. They are flood-safe. Maybe also seacoast safe. Mountain safe for sure! But to nail better I need to learn, because I am not sure these are rain- or windproof though. Maybe sealing them better would do. (Other huts: 1, 2, 3.)

Dear Shokoofeh, thank you so much for the award of Tea, flowers and sunshine! These pictures are for you, maybe one day we can drink tea together in a real allotment garden of mine (:

DEAR APRIL, YOU MELTED THE SNOW

While eating blueberry pie, I wrote some new plans to a list that I keep. Ideas, commissions, dreams, places to visit. Things to paint, things to read, people to contact. Things for now, tomorrow and forever. Sew a jacket or Learn always. Things done become crossed, amount of marks which never will be finished is growing. Visit lighthouses. Have a walk. Paint.

Happpy new week!

A PILE OF CUPS TO BE WASHED

Can you see all the teas I drank this weekend? Nepal Ilam Mao Feng, China Royal Jasmine Curls, Vater Morgana, Green Tea With Ginkgo, Gen Maicha, Jasmin Xian Yu... All green, all so good and always one more cup is very pleasant and taking me to very green and warm places. A few vegan pancakes were eaten with those forks and knives too.

A week starts for me on Sunday afternoon, today with a vegan semla (sweet Sandra knows what is good even for breakfast). There are three crows watching me through the window from a birch tree. The wind swings them gently. Have a good new week!

HAVE PEACEFUL DAYS

Sewing, knitting, sitting cross-legged and drinking tea. Thank you for everyone of you who has written me (especially the one who wrote me a real letter from Dundee :) !

Be well and enjoy and remember the animals if it is cold outside!
