sneeuw :)Is it so early? Or is it normal where you live?
I can't believe my eyes, but it looks beautiful and so silent! I like the tiny steps - someone was surprised, too!:)Maybe you would like to know the word for snow in Bulgarian? "Сняг", pronounced [snjag].Have a cosy weekend!:)
I made a mistake - the pronunciation is [snjaK]...
That word for snow is very pretty too. "Snjak", I will repeat today while walking, as new snowflakes are slowly floating in the air (the old snow already disappeared).
Bournemouth is getting cold as well!!! Lovely pics, the word snow in spanish is: nieve.
Happy to get your greetings from the beautiful Bournemouth. Hoping to be there again sipping coffee and playing backgammon like three years ago. (The last three pictures are from there: http://annaemilial.blogspot.fi/2009/11/postcards-from-big-city-and-autumn-sea.html )
So soon!!! So beautiful! Oh, I feel like a child, excited anticipating.
It was a happy morning to wake up (:
oh there it is.the first snow in my blogroll for this winter :)
(: How is it in there? Also there I once saw the first snow. Living high above it was beautiful to see the Taunus hills and see the parking lot under with darker squares after cars had gone to work.
Already!? It is getting very cold here in Copenhagen as well. But still autumn colours and leaves... Enjoy the softness of the snow.
Thank you, though the white blankets are gone already. Hopefully you enjoy the coldness!
Oh, the first snow ! Love the silent of a snowy day !
It was beautiful, like to wake up inside a big soft blanket where the sounds have disappeared indeed.Happy day to you!
hello Anna Emilia, i read you from France, in a city close to Paris, and it is incredible to see your pictures ! 3 days ago here, it felt like summer - the last warmth before real autumn. I wish we will have snow also :-)
Oh! Throwing you a kind and soft snowball, hoping that it won´t melt on the way!
Dear Anna EmiliaIn Spanish we say "nieve"My blog is called "lumii" and now I discovery that "lumi" also means "snow"? in what language?I love the serene beauty of your work ..
Lumi is snow in Finnish and also in Estonian (: So happy to read all these comments and learn new words.Thank you so much!
Yes.. first snow here too.. did not want it to come yet, but alas, it did. Lots of fires in the fireplace, warm blankets, and hot cocoa now. Enjoy your wintery weekend, Anna Emilia!

first snow here in switzerland today. seems early. big white flakes dancing all the way from heaven .... nice indoors. more than a cup of tea. a fire and winterprojects to work on. welcome winter :)
So happy it sounds like, I will join your cups of tea!Happy winter days to Switzerland!
So much snow!Lovely photos.
And already almost all of it is gone. Thank you so much Elisabeth!
We've had some snow this weekend too. So early. Coloured leaves with snow look kinda surreal.
It does not happen that way so often here. Lovely to see all those leaves over the snow.
Looking outside it almost feels like Christmas time. It started snowing here in the area of Munich on Saturday and on Sunday everything was white! Very early this year, many people haven't had a chance yet to switch to winter tires on their cars. I like the suomean/finnish word for snow very much. Japanese "yuki" is not bad either. Have a lovely week! Greetings, Chisa
Yuki, what a beautiful word!Did your snow stay?Have a warm calm Wednesday!
I love your perspective. Just ordered two boxes of your greeting cards. I bought one box a while back and must have more. They are so lovely.
Dear Denise, Thank you so much. Your cards will fly over the seas and oceans very soon with greetings of the last remnants of the first snow.
And the Polish word for snow is "śnieg" :) We've already had one, but not so heavy and not so beautiful as in your place.Stay warm,Kasia
Thank you! This becomes such a nice dictionary for the word snow (:Wishing more snow to you!
