TO MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHERS

Leaves in every tree are growing so fast. The morning and the evening sizes grow from a little finger to thumb size. The spring rain caresses. Last night they grew also in my dream, to sizes of mountains. The rain made some leaves to grow also here in the blog (do you see them?) and also to the small online shop.

Mother's Day cards on my table. Tomorrow a small train trip with a flower bouquet. Maybe the first swim after the winter ice has gone from the summer house lake.

Happy Mother's Day on Sunday to all beloved mothers!

    1. Dear Sylvï,

Maybe you could send me a screenshot to show it (annaemilial at gmail dot com)?

As we probably all have different sized screens and different browsers, I think that it happens anyway, (I checked this in many browsers already) but just wanting to be sure what you mean by "cut in half" (: Thank you!

    1. Thank you Bobbi.

Days are so long already indeed, going to sleep feels sometimes such a shame as the light is still so beautiful.

  10. Your works has been facinated me since I saw them at an exhibition in Kuressaare, Estonia.

This blog here takes me to another world on every visit. Thank you! :)

If it's not a secret, which kind of ballpoint pen are you using (in the photo next to the envelope)?

Fresh spring greetings from opposite shore of the Baltic Sea!

    1. Dear Liise,

      Aitäh!

So nice to hear that you saw the exhibition in Kuressaare!

The pen in the photo is a Pigma Micron, it is more like an ink pen, very fragile. They are available in different line widths in most of the book stores here in Finland, but as they are made in Japan, I think you should find them easily in other countries too.

Thank you for writing to me, hoping to cross the Baltic Sea to that shore soon again.

      Happy spring to you!
