A CUCKOO BEHIND STACKS OF FIREWOOD

Waking up with a cuckoo singing, walking barefoot. Falling asleep inside a forest. Mother´s Day and a week at grandparents´. Old treasures, memories and many centimeters of growing color green.

Today raindrops are washing everything. Slowly. Clouds traveling behind the green horizon. Some looking like mountains, some like colorless reflections of forests and lakes. Upside-down. A blue line between them of darker clouds.

Have a mellow new week, with lots of golden circles around clouds.

  1. What can be girls more dreaming about? Especially visiting Grandparents was something special for me and unfortunetely I have not the possibility to do this anymore. All the more I am happy for you Anna Emilia enjoying your time with them, collecting memories and spending time with the people you love.

Wish you also a mellow week.
Hopefully it was raining here tonight, becuase of the last dry weeks here, in which the nature really suffered.

  2. i awoke in a tent on the isle of mull two weeks with the sound of a cuckoo. i have wanted to hear one my whole life and it made me overwhelmed with joy.

when you hear the first cuckoo of the season you shall remain in the sane health and state of mind for the whole year. how magical.

  5. I imagine that spending a week at your grandparent's home is like going back in time to when you were a little girl. To get to hold onto the red stair railing, something you have done since you were a child, must bring comfort as you face the future - it must anchor you. Spring has also arrived here on the mountain, and I must say it really is like watching cm. of green growing right before my very eyes. Enjoy the warmth. Carolina

  10. Mietin mitä tähän kirjottaisin, mutta on vaikeaa löytää sanoja. Sulla on niin ainutlaatunen tapa kuvata luontoa töissäsi. Kaikki mitä teet on mielettömän kaunista. Jos oisin rikas, ostaisin kaikki sun työt. Harmi (meille molemmille) että oon köyhä. Onneksi näitä voi tulla aina tänne ihastelemaan. :)

    Iloa viikkoosi!

  15. It has a compass too in that shirt, so it really is a traveling shirt. Or my aunt calls it "a working jacket", I wonder what kind of work was done by the person embraced by it. A pilot? A flight attendant? It was found from a shed at my grandparents´, with many other precious things.
