AUTUMN LAUNDRY IN MIST

September began with misty sunsets.

Time to fold summer away. In Meadow -painting as Tamah duvet cover is still available at La Redoute.

The colour green is still the majority. More yellow and red every day.

First fires in fireplaces, that comforting smoky scent. Wooden Fence as a Birch Tree duvet cover for Urban Outfitters, still available. And shams too.

Rowing around. That small moment of sunshine in the forest on the other shore.

The forests are filled with mushrooms. Almost seeing as they grow. Trees so tall. Crows flying and singing with their dark voices.

Have a beautiful misty Wednesday!

  2. I've wanted to sleep in your illustrations for such a long time. (sigh!)
Now my dream will come true because your bed linen is reduced!
La Redoute is quite an institution here in France, everybody knows their massive catalogue!
Love your work and your photos too.

  3. You paint with words and photos the transition between the two seasons so poetically, with such a good feeling and expectation for more beauty to come!
The birch tree design is lovely! The photo with the boat is my favourite! It must be a magical experience to row...)
I wish you a wonderful September, Anna Emilia!
I had a similar post about the last treasures of summer and the first signs of autumn...:0)

    1. Actually I rowed from our summer house to my grandmother's summer house and then she came to the shore and we talked. She standing on the dock and me sitting in the boat. Such a feeling of older times, like it used to be in childhood (:

Last weekend I went through the massive folder of my photos from Bulgaria last spring and looking at the photos of the Ravadinovo Castle made me smile. I wonder if the Prince already got his dream castle finished… (:

      Happy September to you too!

    3. Summer houses, lakes, boats... this sounds so tempting and lovely, a completely different world from mine!:) I imagine Tove Jansson, her island, her books (my family adores her!)...
What about Ravadinovo Castle - well, I must admit I'm hearing about it from you - can you imagine it?! Although we spend our summer holidays at the south Black Sea coast! I suppose the Prince has succeeded to finish the unfinished!:D I'll be glad to meet you if you visit Bulgaria again!!!

    4. Dear Rossichka,

Lovely to hear that you enjoy also one of my favourites', heroine's, work.

My parents visited the castle last week and said that it was worth to see. So I wish you also good times finding out if the Prince is home! It seems that you also got the autumn weather, stay warm!

Surely I will let you know if I come to that beautiful country again.
