FIRST SILVER FROST

First glittering frost over roofs and grass early this morning. Many beautiful starry nights to wonder what are there behind our stars. Trying to learn new constellations. Hundreds of years ago, how did it feel to sail in the sea and navigate towards the North Star, to home.

Greetings from my painting table. A sketch from the summer and a detail of a painting to it. Many orders packed too, thank you so much! They will be sent today.

Have a warm and calm weekend!

  2. The night sky has been beautiful lately. I wish I knew the names of more stars. That sketch is wonderfully intriguing.

    1. Actually I am taking a class about constellations at the moment. Yesterday it took me to think, how few we in the end know about the space. Still, how much we have learnt already!

  3. Hello! The sketch is like an illustration to a fairytale. I like the "hanging" bridges, connecting these picturesque houses. How I wish I could enter and see who lives there!:) I hope you'll have many more starry nights, so that you could find out more constellations!
Here, it's still very warm, after the incredibly hot summer! But the nights are fresh and we took out the warm blankets.:)

    1. Hello Rossichka!

There might live some people from older times in these houses (:

      Enjoy your fresh nights!

  5. Näin juuri unta tähdistä. Yksi tähtikuvio oli nimeltään Karhunsammal, ja se oli häikäisevän kaunis. :)

    Mukavaa maalauspäivää!
