FIREWOOD AND FOREST SOUNDS

The weekend was still with cool air, a bit of rain, a bit of sun. The weekend was a cat, a summerhouse, a book, sauna. The weekend was walking bare feet, swimming in a lake, walking through forests. Landscapes turned gradually more green on my way back on Monday.

Today is very warm, today is very sunny. Today is a bicycle trip to eat an ice cream. Today is color green and today is happy.

Hopefully your day is too!

ONCE A WEEK

Hello dear sunny Wednesday,

You gave me a slow morning and a slow day. I gave you a long slow walk and daffodils. You showed me again the two bunnies in the allotment garden which I made scared and to run away in different directions. (Let´s hope they meet each others again.) I showed you how also an afternoon can be very relaxing and you make me now to work the whole evening. You gave me the scent of firewood burning in a fireplace in the nearby houses and I opened the balcony door to get that feeling of warmth also here inside, a scent of home. I made you leek-potato —soup and you made me a beautiful sunset. I played you some nice music and you hummed along as cars on the streets nearby. Happy to have you here dear Wednesday, let´s have some warm moments again next week!

Love,
Anna Emilia

NAME DAY

On my name day my grandmother got her engagement ring 61 years ago while an accordionist played and others danced on the dance floor. I got yellow roses, a mattress vine and a twig wreath to hang on the door. The yellow roses reminded me of these sketches I drew during summer drinking tea while elm leaves were falling to the table. Today a handful of snowflakes were floating in the grey sky while I was walking in the forest and looking what was left of the small branch lodges we used to built when we were small. Just a few branches. Good night, sleep tight!
